World Championship Competitions
To date, we are very pleased to announce the following achievements of athletes from D&D United Martial Arts:
- 2018 Mexico, 11 members achieved a combined total of 29 medals (8 gold, 14 silver, 7 bronze)
- 2017 Panama, 9 members achieved a combined total of 29 medals (8 gold, 7 silver, 14 bronze)
- 2016 Mexico, 8 members achieved a combined total of 24 medals (8 gold, 8 silver, 8 bronze)
- 2015 Costa Rica, 9 members achieved a combined total of 35 medals (10 gold, 12 silver, 13 bronze)
- 2014 Sint Maarten, 13 members achieved a combined total of 35 medals (11 gold, 16 silver, and 8 bronze)
- 2013 Costa Rica, 10 members achieved a combined total of 29 world medals (4 gold, 13 silver, and 12 bronze)
- 2012 Dominican Republic, 13 members achieved a combined total of 37 world medals (7 gold, 15 silver, and 15 bronze)
- 2011 Costa Rica, 12 members achieved a combined total of 39 world medals (10 gold, 16 silver, and 13 bronze)
- 2010 Panama, thirteen members achieved a combined total of 28 world medals (7 gold, 9 silver, and 10 bronze)
- 2009 Cuba, fifteen members achieved a combined total of 34 world metals (7 gold, 14 silver, and 13 bronze)
- 2008 Mexico, five competitors achieved a combined total of 9 world medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze).
Competing and representing Canada is a big expense for competitors - they train hard! Our goal is to help these amateur athletes, from as young as five years old, to be able to achieve their objective of representing Brantford, Brant County, and Canada at the World Championships with pride.
